NAPSO is excited to reach out to you with a special opportunity to shape the future of the potato industry here in North America.
As you know, efficient potato storage over a prolonged period of time is a vital yet sometime overlooked aspect of our industry. Our goal at NAPSO is to elevate the importance of storage within the sphere of potato production through targeted education, engaging discussions, and innovative research. And of course participation of those folks who take care of millions and millions of tons of potatoes during this prolonged storage period.
Our mission
The primary objective of NAPSO is to equip potato farmers, agronomists, and industry consultants in North America as best we can with cutting-edge, sustainable, and scientifically supported storage solutions.
We are committed to bridging the gap between traditional methods and modern technology, and we want to provide essential tools and knowledge to enhance storage efficiency.
Our purpose is straightforward: To empower those involved in potato storage with best management practices, education, innovation, and community-building. We are devoted to developing and promoting advanced, sustainable storage strategies that not only enhance potato quality, but also reduce waste, optimize energy consumption, and boost profitability for growers and businesses alike.
We honestly aim to lead the way in potato storage practices, and to contribute significantly to food security and sustainability both locally and globally.
